A high-volume donor program may require multiple collection beds, additional recovery space, and more storage for supplies. A team traveling to rural or remote communities may place greater emphasis on onboard power, refrigeration capacity, and backup systems.
Blood collection also comes with requirements for safety, sanitation, and storage. We’ll plan around cleanable surfaces, equipment requirements, and the controlled conditions needed for blood storage and transport.
